Zig Unit Question

Sorry, but yet another question from me!

Im wiring in my Zig CF8 at the moment. Can someone tell me why i need to connect it to the starter battery as well as the LB. Does the unit act as a sort of split charger, and will it charge the leisure battery when im driving?

Waiting time for a Gasure conversion??

Anyone know how long the waiting list is for an LPG conversion by Gasure? Im guessing that with petrol prices being what they are right now the Gasure lot may be pretty busy at the mo!

2Way fridge and zig unit = 3Way?

Am i right in thinking I can run my 2 way fridge from a zig unit when plugged into mains? Let me explain more clearly... Zig unit charges LB from hook-up. 2way fridge runs off 12v LB. Therefore would the zig unit keep the LB topped up while i run the fridge on 12v? I dont like the idea of running my...

If I had a panel van with a camping interior and insured it as a van would it invalidate my insurance?

Im having trouble finding someone to insure me on a van with a self installed camping interior.

ace! did the kids come as a freebie?

is that the standard devon roof? ive seen some with the smaller 'straight-up' lid. Yours looks like a Devon Moonraker one? Much nicer in my opinion - they look SO roomy!

Whats people's opinions on Devon conversions?

They seem to be selling for slightly cheaper than Westies and are/were a long-standing company. A van I plan to go and see is a Devon pop-top so was wondering on people's views 1st.
