Re: cruising / top speed

I usually cruise with the traffic around 65-70
might be worth checking your speedo though - they aren't the most accurate, on mine when it says 70 my iphone average speed app thingy says 65mph
So quite happily bob up to an indicated 75 without the fear of the scameras and police

Re: SPEEDO NEEDLE WOBBLE

Mine is between 5 and 8 mph out it's worse at the top end and when starting but not bad at about 60 I just keep it in mind - I use the sat nav or an app on my phone for a more accurate reading as long as you know how much it's out by you can compensate You can also compare the tyre size here http://...

Re: subaru sump

I don't have the exhaust issues of most as I have the Turbo engine - well worth the fit as it's an absolute hoot to drive
had to beef up the mounts on my Rjes Bar though as it bent them away from the chassis

Re: subaru sump

I was looking at that one too - can't see why it wouldn't fit.
I was going to take my old dented sump and have my local engineers make me a Burley style pan, the only other thing I need to consider is how much to shorten the pick up pipe

Re: Doka flatbed, what to do?

Its a resin impregnated board, they use it for building those massive F1 trucks you see at motor racing circuits completely weather proof - and grippy even when wet It was quite expensive if I remember - about £100 a sheet - paid in cash and they gave me some special screws and a couple of tubes of ...
