Hi vans getting restored we have took the fastning clips off roof and the latch off van. The part that the latch rivots too is very worn and shabby. It looks like its made from fibreglass. And its job looks to be a packer for the latch. Obviously theres two. Does anyone kno if you can buy these part...

Cheers guys. Theres only a small section that looks a bit iffy... thats what i was thinking kind of repair a section rarther than full pipe change... will have to have proper look when van goes back up on ramps. Maybe need to just change them then there done with.

Like I say van starts the first turn idle is fine. After 15 mins idle still fine no changes drives fine no misfires nothing but if turn engine off will not start again first time it happend took about 10/15 turns of the key and then started. Not great with mechnics. Brother in law did service. Hes checked things over but carnt see anything. Like i say drove perfect for a week or so then just suddenly started doing this.
