I used to run a 140bhp type 4 motor for years never got hot good low down torque and was better on fuel than my 2.0 cu motor and wbx 1.9 only reason I took it out I wanted loads more power

if you live in Germany you have choice of some amazing buses with loads better engines than the fragile waterboxer but if it was me and the van is as good as you say I would buy it and fit a 2400cc Aircooled motor and matching dk code gearbox

yes I would say its from a left hand drive sliding door is it clear or green tinted glass in the rest of your windows

mines a 82 and offered the window up out of a 89 caravelle to the window behind the drivers seat and it looks exactly the same size , I thought it was just the sliding window in the side door what was different in size , as the 89 caravelle window is definitely to big for my 82 sliding door hole

yes you can use bicarbonate of soda in a blastic cabinet but unless you have a big compressor you wont have enough pressure and you will be at it for absolutely hours I also prefer glass bead as its loads quicker but can only be used if everything is stripped down and walnut shells are good but expe...

as it was years ago its a bit sketchy he told me it went well for what it was but there was loads cheaper ways to get same power as he already had the car started the build and the price went seriously up as alfa parts were not cheap , I remember someone posted pics of it on a forum but cant remembe...

friend of mine used to run a 1700cc alfa engine in his brown n cream devon the rebuilt motor cost him over £3000 to rebuild by a alfa specialist , it was estimated to put out 140bhp with the mods he had done to it , he had many problems getting it to cool correctly he tried larger bore pipes bigger ...
