fuel gauge lies!

Out for a run today when all of a sudden i lost all power and the engine cut out. After a good look around and a power of head scratching it became apparent that i had run out of fuel! My gauge was reading just under half a tank! Just as well i had a spare gallon with me. Is this a common problem? 1...

Re: PUDDLES!

Your in the right area, there is a trail coming down from under the dash directly above the accelerator pedal and at the same position on the passenger side.
Thanks for going to all the trouble of putting a photo on. Brilliant!

I can say for sure that it aint snow, having looked again i am narrowing it down to either the screen wash jets or both front door seals. It looks as though its coming in at the same points on both sides which makes me lean towards the door seals. Are they easy enough to replace?

PUDDLES!

Hi there, got up this morning after a night of rain to discover a couple of small puddles on the rubber mats on both drivers and passenger sides. I'm assuming its coming in the windscreen but can see no proof of that. Is there any other points of entry that might lead to causing these puddles? Its a...

Where and when does that take place? Also, my van has been lowered, any potential problems with that? You can tell i'm al...

1.9 petrol, potential problems

Hi there, just purchased a 1990, 1.9 petrol holdsworth with 77k on it. It sounds sweet as a nut but i was just wondering what sort of problems might start to occur around or after this mileage. Also, what is the best type of oil for this engine with this amount of miles?
