I want to do a l100,000 mile service on my 1988 T25 camper, any advice would be most appreciated dragoneddy

Thanks, When I start it initially I depress accelarator and release it and it starts fine. I had thought about holding accelarator down but previous owner had advised me not too but I will do so at next opportunity (vacation for another 10 days) Thanks for all your advice to date dragoneddy

losing residual fuel pressure :? from a carburettor? You'll have to explain that, unless it's an MV injected engine. It takes 9 or 10 tries before the engine kicks and starts properly. Do you mean cranks and fires or turns of the key and and the starter cranks. what colour is the smoke when it fire...

It doesnt appear, to be battery related, more like losing residual fuel pressure

DIFFICULT STARTING
I have no problems in starting first time in any weather but once the engine has warmed up after just 4 or 5 miles I have problems getting the engine to start. It takes 9 or 10 tries before the engine kicks and starts properly. I also seem to be losing oil possibly from around the breather junction....
