Re: Rear Seatbelts - A thousand apologies
Axeman, thanks. It won't open on my iPhone so I'll try on my PC when I get home. Aidan, there's nothing in the back. I have 3-p's in the front driver and pass and a centre lap belt. Then three laps across the back. My Doka is ex-German military so maybe it's a military spec thing? I'm not sure. Fabr...

Ok. I'll get my Dad to fabricate the necessary bracketry and a mate to weld it in.
Anybody do the honours of photographing a factory mount so I can see what one looks like please?

Re: Rear Seatbelts - A thousand apologies
Cheers Neil.
Yeah unfortunately I have lapbelts across the three rear seats. My other option is to find some seats with the belts built in - out of a Renault Scenic or similar - and swap the whole seats. The existing brown vinyl doesn't hold that much appeal...

Rear Seatbelts - A thousand apologies
Hi I have an '86 Doka - not a Syncro but there seems to be more Syncro Doka's than not. I need to fit 3-point Seatbelts in the back of mine and all the posts on C80-90 are panel vans and campers. So; 1. Has anybody fitted rear Seatbelts to their Doka? 2. Any tips/ advice? I know I can get a seatbelt...

Re: Water Pump Issue on 1Y Engine Swap - Please Help!
Yeah.. no.. sorry... What I mean is, the DoKa started off life with the 1.6D, which was then changed to a 1.9 (1Y). This engine was a pig to start and we've had a steep learning curve with it, having only had her 7 months. Then it ran on it's own oil, so we've gone ahead and changed the engine for a...

Afternoon,
Just put a 1Y diesel into my '86 DoKa yesterday but need a little bit of help...
Do I need to run the water pump backwards? The dash temperature gauge works, but takes it's sweet time about it...
Any help greatly appreciated...
Thanks, Adam

Fuel filter
Hi Just getting ready to road test 1.9D in my '86 Doka. She doesn't like starting much, but runs well when going. 2 thoughts about the starting; 1) do the glow plugs work well 2) is the fuel dropping back. The only filter seems to be an inline plastic bulb type with a paper filter. Should there have...

Re: Newbie T25 Owner... HELP ME PLEASE!!
Morning, Just thought I'd give an update... So, the gearbox came out of her easy-peasy and as Aidan correctly suggested, there was no spigot bearing in t'box. So she's had a spigot bearing, plus the associated bushes. The clutch slave cylinder is also tired, so there's a new one just arrived in the ...

Newbie T25 Owner... HELP ME PLEASE!!
Evening, Just bought (in the last 3 an' a bit weeks) an '86 Doka, ex-German Army. Imported May '09. Had the 1.6D but this was removed and replaced with a 1.9NAD from a Golf MkIII - no idea of what year the Golf is/was though. The Doka has the original 4-speed gearbox mated to the Golf engine using t...
