I've just bought some 16" ET37 merc alloys with 205 tyres as I believe they fit on with no spacers required
Is this true or not

South African headlight conversion question
Hi all,
Is it legal to wire the inner lights directly to the main beam so that all 4 lights operate at the same time, or do they have to be wired to a seperate switch.
I'm not sure of the law regarding this.
Thanks.

Replacement key for sliding door lock/handle

My other keys don't work because i think there just wrong, the lock mechanism seems to be free enough but it won't undo. I think from what i've read this is quite...

T25 Sticking Speedo
My speedometer has started sticking and showing the wrong speed or not working at all. Is this the cable or the speedometer itself. When i bang on the top of the housing it tries to free off. I was wondering if lubrication might fix it.

5 speed gearchange problem
I've started having a problem finding reverse and second gear. All the other gears are fine, it just baulks and won't go in. Am i right assuming this is a linkage problem. Sometimes it goes straight in without a problem. I had a quick look at the cup & ball and linkage, the ball moves about 1mm ...

No, its def the waterpump, belts, or alternator. I'll try changing the belts and see if that works.

JX noise when idling
My JX has developed a rattling grinding noise when idling. I thought it was the shot bearings in the alternator because when i removed the belt the noise disappeared, so went out and bought a new one (expensive!) fitted it but the noise is still there. I am wondering if the problem is the water pump...

Re: 1988 JX 5 speed gear lever position problem
Is the gear stick shaft hollow and not solid. Is it common for them to bend ? I was thinking how easy it is to straighten again in situ.
How difficult is it to remove for straightening.
