We use an opened out sleeping bag on top of the foam seat base and back. This makes a super comfy bed.

I changed my fuel filter on the flat by using a couple of clamps either side on the rubber pipe, only lost the fuel that was in the filter. There is another one in the engine bay but that was clear.

Thanks for the advice. I cleaned uop all the contacts on the crown, but to no avail. Moving on it has ebeeen found to be a fauly light switch, which has been taken apart as much as can be, cleaned and then put back together. All now works OK.

Hi all, My temp gauge seems to have given up the ghost. I have checked that it works by connecting across the relay (as in the Wiki) and the needle shot up. Yes first thing was to hot wire and bypass the switch. This had no effect so the motor was either siezed or broken and as it turned out it was kaput..

Thanks Rob, will get some today. The next problem is the refitting of the heater box, all the posts I have seen say to seal the box with siilicone and use clips. Silicone is no prob but where do I get the clips from?

Thanks for that, I've found the screws with captive nuts and have now got the heater box out. There were 6 screws inside and two of these went into captive nuts above the radiator. After oiling up the bearings the motor still does not turn when powered up but is completely free and turns by hand, so...
