Interior colours

Hi all, I have an '87 Caravelle GL UK spec and I think my interior is grey, however I'm not always good at these things and it might be a bit blue ish ! Can someone tell me what colours were available, I think brown, blue and grey but could well be wrong. I need to find a new sliding door card and d...

Re: Making Multivan rock and roll secure in caravelle

Hi, Yes that looks like exactly the same problem as I had. My R&R bed came from a RHD UK spec Caravelle, an option apparently. Quite simply, and it really was simple, I drilled out the 4 spot welds which hold the pin brackets onto the panel, unscrewed the pin and screwed it into the back side of...

Which Fiamma

Hi Guys,

I want to buy a wind out awning for my day van but want to secure the base of the legs back to the van side rather than down on to the floor.

Would somebody who has already done this let me know which length of awning I need.

Thanks

Re: Making Multivan rock and roll secure in caravelle

If its any help, I had the same problem putting a Caravelle R&R bed into my Caravelle. The easy solution, if you can weld or have access to someone who can, is to drill out the spot welds on the mounting bracket, take out the pin, turn the bracket inside out, do a little re jigging in the vice t...

Re: Multvan bed fixings

OK, just so it's here if anyone searches for this;

What you need are 7/16ths UNF bolts or machine screws 1 1/2 inches long.

Sourced mine from Namrick.

Re: Multvan bed fixings

Can't find any fixings anywhere but have managed to find an M11 x 1.24 die so I'll turn down some M14's and re cut the thread.

Multvan bed fixings

Hi guys, I am having some trouble sourcing some replacement fixings for my newly aquired multivan bed. I need set screws (or bolts) in M11 x 1.25 thread size. The originals from the Caravelle seat unit are too short. So, before I drill out the captive nuts and re-tap to M12, does anyone have any ide...

Re: Fitting a VW rock and roll bed

Thanks very much, that pretty much answers all of my questions, I'll drill out the spotwels and re-wels further forward.

Thanks again

Fitting a VW rock and roll bed

Hi all, Bought my first T25 towards the very end of last year, it's an '88 Caravelle in what seems to be very solid condition, bar a bit of rust in the NSR wheelarch due to an old knock and scrape. I have managed to source a proper VW rock and roll bed in original UK spec Caravelle colour, but, now ...

Re: Motorbike carrier

Hi, I you are looking for a good quality rack then I can recommend the Kliponoff one. I have had one for a few years and it has been used on all manner of things including a Mondeo estate and a lot on a T4. Fantastic quality, much better than anything else I have ever seen. Not sure about the rack o...
