Hi
Can anyone tell me if a Rubber Cab Mat from a 1984 1.9 petrol Caravelle would fit in a 1984 1.9 Petrol Transporter.
Thanks

Leak on coolant system.
I've found yet another leak. It's coming from the hole in this pipe. Can this be fixed? Can it be sealed or welded in some way? When I first looked at this I thought this piece was bolted onto the engine block and I'd be able to remove it and get a new one, but it looks as though this is welded on a...

Water leak
I've got yet another leak on the coolant system. This time it's from the small hose under the large hoses that looks like a U bend. The hose goes onto a piece of metal that is then bolted to the engine. I think it's coming from where the two pieces of metal join rather than from the hose. Is there s...

Re: Coolant Level Switch
you mean the header tank? there should be two wires to it. The concequences are, the red flashing light will not magicaly appear, to inform you that your engine has no coolant in the header tank. do you see a red flashing light for a few seconds when you start the van? I think it does flash. Will h...

Coolant Level Switch
The coolant level switch on the expansion tank of my 1984 1.9 petrol has nothing connected to it. There is no sign of any wires that could connect to it. What should be connected to it? Where should the other end connect to? What are the consequnces of it not being connected up?

Re: Vents
A fridge needs a vent for the flue from the gas burner, and vents at the top and bottom to allow air to circulate. Only the flue really needs to be vented to outside the van though. Can you raise the fridge up so that air can get in under it from inside the van? The flue does have a vent on the out...

Vents
This is a query about the vents behind my fridge. When I bought my camper there were two vents, one in the side panel below the window and one in the sill. The lower one in the sill was removed when I had the sill relaced, a new opening was not made for the vent. Are both vents needed?

when you try it after an overnight upside down trick
As stated, it does need to be flat, we have to take ours off the drive, which is on a slope, or it won't work.
