Hi sorry to throw a spanner in the works but you can get child seats that are meant to be on lap belts. landrover fold up boot seats as buddy seats???
Hi has anyone tried to fit a landrover Discovery boot seat as a buddy in a T25?
We are desperate for a buddy seat and have thought about using a landrover boot seat out of a 7 seater discovery.
Just wondered if anyone else had tried this??

hubby said if you could send him measurements that would be great..he is a welder:-)

yep......this is exactly what hubby is saying
put a bluebird, get it anchored securely and make sure tat the belts are anchored to the van.
have read about seatbelts needing to be at the right angle when secured in???
is it better to get them professionally put in then or is this a welder hubby job?

just to throw a spanner in works... hubby saying that westfalia seats were crash tested 20 plus years ago and times have changed .....he now thinks a blue bird steel one thats anchored down correctly with him making sure its extra secure with welding, chasis and bulkhead fixings should be way to go ...

thanks Cruz, that answers a load for me at present, it has 3 lap belts in back, hubby used to be a welder making lorries for a living so he should be able to do the seat belts i think :-) At present, hes making his way around the panels, replacing here, making new ones there.....busy busy busy :wink...

Soz, but didn't know which forum to put this in. This might be a reaaaaaaally doh question but our van says Transporter on it its a high top on the High top it has J.A.P on the bottom corner of the high top. so, question is, did this come out of the factory as a van or camper (or how do I find out) ...

Hi I have already posted this morning asking how to do the headling but can't remember if I put that it was a high top I was wanting to do, so just to ask again, soz about this how hard is it, what do I do, could I even do it, or do I have to sell the kids to be able to afford to pay to have it done...
