For wires to the pierburg 2e3 carb check out the pics in the ( disconnected wires ) post i posted on the 9th nov 09.

I have looked at the screw you are refering to and it does not seem to be affecting anything at all wether screwed in or out. Sounds complicated, what went wrong with the good old fashion pull chokes lol.
So is the best thing to do to disconect the auto choke then?

Yes it is mate. Do you think that could be affecting it? How would that make it not return to the idle position?

temp gauge not working?
hey guys, iv recently realised that the temp gauge on my van is not working. the red light works properly but the needle doesnt seem to move at all. would this be a fault with the temp sender or the gauge its-self? if any of you guys have any sugestions it would be a great help before i actualy star...

after another quick look at the carb there r actualy 2wires going to it. both are black wires. 1 to the front of the carb and 1 to the right side. should these be in place of the other 2?

Hi kev, i already have a black wire with a red connector going to the right (airbox) side of the carb, do u stil think they go there lol. im not used to these engines lol. looks like the wiring may have been played with before. leigh
