Re: camperjam the aftermarth

Well done everyone. I was gutted I couldn't pop over for the day. Hopefully my circumstances will change next year and Basil Fawlty decides the hotel is no more and I can pursue full time cooking from my syncro :D

Re: PetenAli's WBX 2500 engine build

At the risk of self-congratulation...your MV turned out really well in the end Mike. Both Simon and I were really impressed with the part-throttle performance and pick-up, never mind it being a syncro Westy on oversize tyres. Just goes to show how good a fresh WBX really can be ;) Self-congratulati...

Re: PetenAli's WBX 2500 engine build

Great read so far...

It would be great to compare the engine with the 2.1 sitting in mine (which Ian also built), I guess they would both be considered 0mile engines.

I know it will only end up with me wanting one though :|

Re: 15" mefro Steels - Tyre & Fixings Advice Please

I was in the very same position at the start of the year.. I've had multiple set ups and now I am on cooper at3's using 215/70/16 which is only 0.53% bigger than the commonly used 215/75/15 with bfg's. I have found it to be a great tyre overal, the independent reviews are very positive too. I was a...

Re: Show Us The Homes - Shelters Built For Your Campers

It's certainly not a grand place. I think my garage space is bigger and in better condition than the house. Ive literally bought a big garage with a house attached, the previous owner was a classic car enthusiast, which is why he probably replaced the garden with a massive garage. I'm actually going...

Re: Show Us The Homes - Shelters Built For Your Campers

I'm just in the process of buying a house. I turned up to the viewing to an electronically opened gate, large driveway and a double garage with an inspection pit. It also has another single garage on a second driveway. Can't remember a thing about inside the house, the wife knew it was game over whe...

Westy hob dimensions

Hi

My van is at t3volution and I can't measure it myself..

Could someone tell what the dimension is of the two hobs combined? I'm looking at buying a cast iron, rectangle, hot plate and it would be good to know that it will fit!

Hot plate is 50cm x 23cm. I'm worried it is too long..

Thanks
