I think I'm going to keep it standard. The new wheels and tyres give just enough hint of a lift. And I found a place for the spare.

I like the advice of finding a van that hasn't recently been resprayed. The white one has been and it doesn't look as good as mine did when I bought it. I don't think anyone could guarantee what the state of things is under the spray and filler. So, my van had no visible rust anywhere when I got it....

I've replaced ignition switch and connection. Could be wire from cab to engine bay, could be earth. I get a loud click, just no turnover sometimes. I replaced the return pipe (and feed) with new from Brickwerks and that is when the problem started. Old one failed, replaced new and filled up with oil. So I suppose there could be a restriction in that. I'll take it off again to check but not so likely. Breather... I can blow down no problem. But ...
