Fridge Panel Repair
I had the benefit of buying what looked like an immaculate van but which came with huge learning opportunities that reveal themselves over time - constantly keeping me engaged in the pleasures of the T25 (not the pleasures of driving and camping; just fixing German engineering). After discovering a ...

Great info Micky. Wish I'd found MM threads before I started my 'project' http://www.brick-yard.co.uk/forum/weldi ... page1.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. Maybe I can try and do the other side properly.

Re: central locking
Often there is only one of the locking actuators that also acts as a master (signalling that all other locks should change state). It will have more wires going to it than the others (usually 4 vs 2)
Seems like your master actuator is currently on the passenger side![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)

Re: central locking kits
I just got a kit that I plan to fit at weekend. Hope it's easy.
The problem with the sliding door is that the lock is in the door and getting a signal and power into the door would present a challenge.

Re: Electric Window: How do the motors come out?
I sort of fixed mine yesterday. Took the motor off and it wouldn't run, could turn with pliers. I pulled it into pieces, cleaned rust off rotor, polished the thrust washers, oiled, threw away the gasket. Works OK now, but didn't wind the window. So, pulled the gear apart, cleaned, used some grease h...

Improve 2WD offroad performance?
Initially I was planning on a syncro but someone very sensible convinced me I should stick to 2wd. Still, I think I deserve a provisional place in the syncro club as I'm probably sinking ££ into my sensible purchase just as quickly. One day though, I may run out of things to fix, so can I get some o...

Re: Cold start lever
It can be difficult to pull out fully when the engine isn't running. Try pulling it at the same time you crank, and it may pull out a bit further.binka wrote:Thanks Doug, found it with your help and it does look attached.
