Hi got an answer from a very helpful club 80/90 member, thankyou! This is how they are meant to be. When the 2 halves of the bed are in at either end of the roof, the opening in the middle is the size of the actual roof opening. If the front bed was any bigger it would cross over into this space. Many thanks for all your replies! Given me much food for thought, especially with regards the LPG, was going to go to gasure re converting to this in the future, want to be cleaner and cheaper!
