As above, if it can be scratched of that easily you could try scraping it off with a plastic tool. May be a filler spatula.

Mmmmmmm, Last night I went to drive home and discovered my lights wouldn't turn on to dipped beam and full beam wouldn't stay on with the normal pull on the switch, to complicate things more the windscreen wipers died at the same time. From searching posts I have found the ignition switch was broken...

Re: Paint / primer / confused!
Personally I would use a high quality high build primer all over, buy it from a proper paint suppliers and you might be able to barter a discount. Rattle can or roller is up to you but they have both have good coverage. The minus on the rattle can is the masking required but by going to the proper s...

Re: ignition switch
I have replaced the barrel on mine after misplacing the keys, from past experience the barrel comes out from the action of putting the key in (Renault Master Van) however as I was minus the key a hammer was used. I wont put how it was done or comment via any post due to security issues however you s...

Re: Roof Bars for pop top
Mine lives inside the van, fins to the rear bulkhead and a strap round the roof bar left over from the original roof and a belt and braces tie round the handle used to pull the roof down. Hopes that makes sense, 9ft 1" CJ

Re: water pump for 1.9
I can't remember if the spare hole was threaded on mine or if I put a thread into it, any way with the thread I put a bolt in with a washer and a bit of thread lock and job done.
If your not happy to do it or don't have a tap and die set then a local garage should do it for you.

Bluebird R/R bed in an Auto Sleeper
I am completing some work on my Auto Sleeper factory conversion and I am considering upgrading the bed to the new Bluebird 3/4 bed, has any one else made the the change. If so how is the fit? Sorry I have no idea of my beds original dimensions as I have removed the interior to deal with some tin worm.

What is best,
Make your own.
J.K. (that I still can't find a definitive answer whether it will fit)
Bluebird.
Or have I missed one?

Re: autosleeper camper tabble
My small table has a place under the rear parcel shelf that it clips into, when camping I attach it to the big table at the front behind the seat using a roof tie.
No clips in mine for the legs mind.

Re: autosleeper camper tabble
I found that by removing the carpet covered piece of wood that is behind the drivers seat I was able to jam it in the gap using the table legs. I do find the big table to large to use practically in the van, however it makes a good table if you put the cab table in as a base and use it outside when ...
