hi there if you do the large o ring seal between the trans box and diff dont forget to replace the paper gasket as well threre is 2 of them both sides . these are no longer availble from vw , but porshe make them still with the same part numbers and are 90 pence each plus vat i rebuilt a box last mo...

hi there the best thing to use i would suggest is pu-flex its made by granville you can get in black or white we use it all time at work . we stick and repair panels on frigde trailors and tractor units plus it seals as well and its over paintable . its a polyurethane adhesive sealer try that shaun ...

hi there went today to buy some sae 90 as my manaul says for my diff on an auto box , but my local motor factor says they dont make it any more and have ep 90 gl5 and say its the same one is this true can any body give me some advice thanks shaun

hi there just been looking at your threads . i would use stickoflex we use it all thime for sealing fridge trailors at work . sticks allmost any thing and seals as well .with big gaps we put it on and leave for 10 mins then speader it over. we also stick panels on with it . email me and i will let y...

hi there im just about to put my liners back on engine with new seals ,on my engine it is a 1.9 dg . been told to lighty grease the top sealing ring ie head gasket and also the green seal BUT do i grease the bottom black one dry or greased can anybody give me some advise cheers shaun
