nope its not the radio, it only works when the ignition is already on. I flick the switch and i can hear the relay clunking on, but it doesnt seem to do anything. The wires that come off it all disapear underneath the cabinets. I thought it might be some thing to do with the fridge, which doesnt see...

hi, does anyone else have a switch retro fitted on the dashboard that goes to a silver relay under the drivers seat next to the battery.

Grill spoilers
Why are grill spoilers so damn expensive?? Surely thet are not hard or costly to produce? The same item for a golf mk1 or 2 is under £20, so why are we being ripped off? There seems to be a lot of us that want them, maybe we could do one of those discount bulk buys? Any ideas

that orange panel has full air ride and can sit its belly on the floor, plus the 17's and some bits done inside, so not really standard!

they are also on e bay, not sure who sells them but they do the type like that pic and ones for side elevators that attach some how with elastic straps, they cost about 120 i think.

Defo growing on me, i used to love the shiney paint look, but it has its drawbacks. Im not a fan of rust, but have been thinking about going down the matt paint look with a twist. Problem is i think it will affect the re-sale value??

I've had german pressed plates with the "D" mark on my M3 for 6 months and no bother so far. I've also got on my crimbo list some pressed black and silver plates for my '80 T25, naughty i know, but i've broken so many traffic laws one more wont hurt (i hope)

Thanks for the advise but the first two sugestions are no good, i had seperate ones for each window, and some home made ones for my old T4 and they were a pain in the bum to put up and didnt look great eather. I want a one peice item that wraps around the outside, just like the genuine Silver Screen...

where to get a wrap around silver screen
i want to get a wrap around silver screen that goes round the wind screen and front doors. I.ve found one thats nearly 100 pounds, bit overpriced for me. Does any one know where i can get a cheaper one, been looking on e bay but no luck. Cheers si.

run your four speakers off the head unit with the bass turned down, then add a sub running off your amp, you'll get something off ebay for 20 quid or so. On a budget that sound best.
