no need, i didnt and its fine, if you try to weld it up you run the risk of warping the cam cover and then it will leak round the edges.

i believe the wires between the injector pipes are for diagnostic purposes on the original car, so you can check pump timing via the OBD port rather than with a dial gauge. dont worry about them. only wire to connect is diesel stop solenoid, directly above where the pipes come out. connect your orig...
