Re: Autosleeper pop top springs
Hi Dazco,
If its the rear spring inside the roof the one off of the t5 fits but i think i had the last one from Autosleeper a few years ago. But in my opinion its not much better than the original i had in it.

Re: Help needed issues starting
I found that one out the hard way, but boy did the van go well :ok . Used a fair bit of fuel also. I found the issue for now at least seems like the needle valve for the float sticks in its tube/ seat. So tonight I stripped down the carb and wet and dry'd the needle so it could rotate an move up and...

Thanks for all the advice
I now have my wheels fitted but went with 10mm spacers for now and 215 60 r16 99xl tires and it makes a hell of a difference.
Thanks again.

Help needed issues starting
Hi everyone, I'm having problems starting my 1.9dg that's been lpg'd. I've just had the breakdown guy out and he thinks the carb is flooding but it doesn't start on gas either, which it normally does. I've recently rebuilt the carb and it's been running fine since and previous work I've done is remo...

Re: Tickover HELP Keeps cutting out when the revs drop
Hi all, I have had similar problems with my 1.9dg starting problems mainly. In the past 2 years I've done the tank, fuel lines, electrics and carb but will the brake servo hose prevent it from starting intermitantly ?
How did you get on with yours johncccc ?

Hi all, I've just purchased some ml alloys 16x6.5 with 255 65 r16 tyres. Will these fit straight on if not what are your recommendations for the most user friendly set up that will give decent ride quality. My camper is running standard height with b4 shocks and I don't intend on lowering it as I qu...

Re: 1985 Auto sleeper on demand water pump
Had the same problem with mine so I took it apart and one of the keys in the centrifugal pump had come out of its gate and jammed. So I took them all out and cleaned the lime scale off of them works a treat now also soldered some better wire on the contacts.

1.8t conversion kit.
Does any body in the uk supply a comprehensive DIY kit for a 1.8t conversion 15degree install?
Or is there a better conversion / easier conversion so I can bring my daily vehicle more up to date performance and usability wise?
I'm currently running a 1.9dg LPG on a4 speed box.
Thanks in advance.

Hi all, I've got a VT20 and have only recently tried sleeping in the pop top. The problem is I'm 6'3 and the roof bed seems very small and very hard. My question is has anyone else had the same problems and if so how have they overcome this ?

Re: Travelling around France with a smart phone.
I found when refuelling in France use the Carrefour supermarkets for fuel they seem to accept English cards even the 24 hour unmanned ones. I did however find that the super plus fuel is better than the regular as when using regular my van started miss firing. As for mobile phones only use it sparin...
