Re: Starter/non-starter
Cheers for that. It does look pretty corroded. Cant even pull it off. That said, the mechanic i was put in contact with gave the advice, "just wiggle the key a little". Old girl fires up without protest. Perhaps I just forgot what its like to own an old vehicle. I live in her all week ever...

3 Way Fridge
Hiya I have just gone to use my Electrolux 3 way fridge in a van I purchased a couple of months ago. It was sold as seen, I didn't check it, my bag (I did ask if it worked and was assured yes). I cant see any signs of life. I tried it in the 12v setting. I heard a click as I turned the stat... but n...

Radio ga ga
Hi I have a 1990 t25... the radio is giving up the ghost. How do I take it out... and stick in a new one, will the wiring need modifying... are there any other pitfalls I haven't considered. Is it a job for a novice or should I get the local mechanic to have a fiddle? Any help would be greatly appre...

Re: Painful gear shift
Hi
Thanks for the replies. I have mastered the shift... as long as i keep my fingers out the way and remember how to get reverse (Thanks em) its all good.
I'll get the garage to have a look when I book her in for a service... think its the safest bet.

Painful gear shift
Hi Just picked up my bus. 1990 2.1 autosleeper. Really lovely... but just have a couple of queries regarding gear shifting. Firstly, reverse is nigh on mythical... perhaps my arms are just short... but that is one difficult gear to find (have driven many cars, vans, wagons... plenty of ldvs with vag...
