Is this the correct coil

I've been having a few ignition problems and was just checking my coil. I have electronic ignition ,1980 CU engine, and as far as I know the correct coil should be 211-905-115B. Last year I was sold a Dinamex Mexican coil (BAA905115) by Just Kampers as a replacement part. I have googled the part num...

ignition aplification unit

Just got to campsite in Sussex and engine burgled and cut out. Fortunately got here. AA called but suspects ignition amplifier. VW Heritage say this part is no longer available for 1980 T25. Part number is 211905351. Does anybody have a spare or know where I can get one. Looks like a big yellow taxi...

Alternator regulator

Hi all, Just returned from a lovely weekend away camping but my red ignition has begun to flicker. I suspect it may be the voltage regulator pack, so I have had a quick look and the brushes do seem to be a little worn! Tried looking a the WIKI to see where to get a new one but the seller suggested n...

Re: Khyam or JustKamper's sun canopy

I have Just Kampers Sun Canopy. To be honest not that impressed. Every time there is a gust of wind the the flexible poles bow inwards. Great idea for collecting the rain water!!! The poles seem to come out in relatively low winds and bash against the side of the van, no fun trying to rectify at 2am...

Re: Steering lock replacement

I perhaps stupidly removed key when I got back from holiday as didn't want to leave van on drive with key in ignition. I am now unable to get back in and need  to take van to garage Tuesday. As far as I know steering lock is buggered anyway, but is there any easy way of disabling (just in cas...
