My dear old foul-mouthed grandad used to say that "them that moan about f-in rain only do it cos they're usually f-in dry. You won't melt". Still not quite sure what he meant but I'm saying it now to mine (minus the f-in)

Ongoing temp light questions: Flickers on & off when 55mph+ on motorway but engine never blown up - not even once :-) Have cleaned the sensor in the header tank & changed the temp sender. Prev thought electrical, now noticed that goes out when heater blower turned on so presume it is actuall...

Dolphin watching off Channonry Point - best to go on a rising tide, we take a picnic & sit there for hours with silly grins watching or go back to Avoch for a boat trip out Fort George across the water but a bit of a drive around past Inverness Dunrobin Castle up towards Dornoch & the Glenmo...

Loads of trips away just me & the boy aged 12. He wanders off on his own doing his wildlife thing & doesn't nick too much of my cider. In 3 or 4 years, I'll be the most uncool thing on earth but until then, happy days...................
