So looking at options if my 1600ct isn't cost effective to fix. Does anyone know of a type3 1600 would easily bolt in....

Re: Looking for someone to convert my 1.9 T25/T3 to 1.9tdi.
[quote="toomanytoys"]TDi Isnt the "easiest" and normally need s a gearbox rebuild and re gear too... neither comes cheap... 1.9 TD (AAZ) is easier route if you can find a nice AAZ.... and maybe wouldnt need a gearbox swap... SORRY I WASN'T VERY CLEAR, AN AAZ SWAP IS WHAT I'M LOOK...

lpg wiring, how do i short out the brain?
yup you heard correctly. basically i don't want the lpg brain to do anything, so cutting in at revs etc is all useless to me as i have to wait for the float chamber of my van to empty b4 can click over to gas anyways. I have created a 'short' circuit that adds power to the solenoid ring, so the 3 so...

Anybody fitted 60's Merc wolfrace to their wedge? HOW?
I have a set of wolfrace wheels from a 60's Merc. They have the same PCD though the hole bolts are larger (without inserts) than the bolts/studs on my 86 wedge. I'm having problems trying to get the correct bolts/nuts etc to fit them and now sure who to ask!? I've tried M7 but not getting very far w...

How do I get the air out of my engine?
Had the water pump off yesterday and lost loads of coolant. I've filled the expansion tank and overflow tank but the water level is going down very slowly and the temp sensor is bouncing off the end of the guage one minute and then cold the next. I thought it was an electrical fault at first but don...

Sympathy for him? firstly he agreed to do the engine swap (2 weeks b4 bugjam - which was the DEADLINE) and therfor I didn't buy a recon 1.9 that Wedgedout was selling. He then turns round to me and says wants to swap it over, but then wants his engine back after bugjam!!? So I contacted Wedged out a...

Thankyou everyone for your responses! The biggest problem I hav is trying to work out which bloody wire is which as they seem to be the wrong colours and I suspect have been put back on the engine incorrectly, that or there aren't enough wires for the engine, if that makes sense? very strange. I'm g...
