Re: Random Oil Leak
Yeah if you have heat leave it alone. You're already better off than 90 percent of the Aircooled vans on the road.

Re: Random Oil Leak
Agree with the above.
90 percent of the time it's the push rod tube seals. Tell tale signs are oil slicks on top of the exhaust heat exchangers.

Re: Airbed that works?
I've had 2 Coleman ones. One which converts from an inflatable sofa to a kingside mattress. Never had any problems with either of then deflating and they're surprisingly supportive.

They probably got fed up of them not being able to keep up with the speed limit and holding everybody up.
"Speed limit strictly walking pace on site at all times."

Re: Caravelle 7 seater coversion.
If you are quite handy, doing it yourself and building your own units then you could do it for £700 depending on how far you want to take it. The most expensive bits would be the rock n roll bed and fridge. If you can source most of your parts second hand then you're in with a shout. But beware, it ...

Re: Split charge relay
Ah, I see! Thanks California Dreaming. So this relay device I have already DOES charge both batteries whilst driving and then switches off the main when parked? I have no mains hookup so any charging of the leisure needs to be through the alternator but I can't see where this device connects to it?...

Re: Split charge relay
I have one too which I use to charge 2x110ah leisure batteries. Never had any problems with it at all. Just so you know there's a small plastic screw which you adjusts the sensitivity of when the relay switches over. Worth spending a bit of time making sure that it's switching over correctly when th...

Re: eberspacher fitting locations
Under the glovebox mounted horizontally through front bulkhead, but this is on the Aircooled vans and utilises the cavity in the front where the rad is on water cooled models for running the pipes.
Not sure if there is still room to do this on water cooled vans as I've never had one.
