this is the correct number, if you had retained the old one, you would have been able to stick a replacement glass over it. I need the plastic ring that holds the glass in? if you have a spare mirror, that would be V helpful.

This may not be that helpful, but I found a web page, (but can't find the link) that had a brilliant photographic set of instructions for undertaking this whole job, it was in a great deal of detail. As I say not much help, but if you do a search I am sure something will turn up.

Has anybody ever had to source the internal gubbings for an electric wing mirror, specifically the white plastic ring the glass clips to?
