Thank Steve

Might have a go anyway. Seems odd that the JK version is £15 and JK say the GSF verison is the same but £45.

HELP Fuel pump - won't start

Not the fuel pump won't start :? but the engine won't cos the fuel pump doesn't have enough suck. The 1.9 dg 'velle has been standing about for couple of weeks and the fuel level appears to have dropped back to the tank in the supply hose. I would like to 'syphon' this back but can't figure out how....

I have and '86 'velle with 1.9 DG engine 2 issues 1. the gearbox filler nut is seized - any ideas about getting it out without melting the gearbox or rounding off the nut? 2. Drained the coolant and refilled with G12+ according to the tech section. now have an air lock that only appears about an hou...

weird starting

Ok I've check the connections and added a engine earth strap and still the starter is chattering and turning the engine slowly. Volts are good and battery though not new, is in good condish. changed the start bush and the starter is quite new. engine compression is between 150 and 180 around the cyl...

earth strap

my starter turns slowly sometimes and worse when cold. Iwas advised was bad earth. Cleaned it all up got a bit better but still iffy. Was wondering where the original engine earthstrap is and where best to place new one. Will this make it any better???

did you change the dampers when you lowered with JK springs? i bought the 40 mm kit expecting to keep the ride practical but JK 40 springs lowered it 60mm. this is the 2nd set so... can't be just me

anyway i think the from dampers bottom out hitting bumps at speed. :!:
