?Drive Flange Oil Seal Leak
Hi everyone, 1.6 1986 Diesel - just started leaking what I assume is ?gear box oil from CV shaft. Looking on Wiki looks like the drive flange oil seal (thanks to VW Tech for advice on Wiki :) ). Coupla questions - has anyone sourced the seal from someone like GSF or Justkampers rather than a VW deal...

Just got paid me overtime and feel a summer treat for the van...

Hita Emma....well, it was a pretty extensive rant if i remember rightly- starting at the designers of both wheel nuts and 4 way wrenches going up through the hierarchy of Kwik Fit and their bleedin hydraulic torquey tighty things and then I may have thrown in a few threats to the big man above at wh...

Wheel Changing
Now I'm sure this has been covered before but after my experience recently I thought I would just highlight what an absolute pig the wheel bolts on our beloved T25's are to 'crack' and get loosened. With my trusty 4 way wheel nut spanner I managed to - cut my thumb, bruise my hand, crack the pavemen...

Evening Keith..just had the same problem with my van. I tried everything to get the union nut off (soaking it for days in WD40 etc) but just couldn't get a hold on it. Eventually had work done at Type 3 Dets as the pistons etc had seized too. My limited experience is that you could cut the hard pipe...

 Flippin' eck...just had all my brakes done on my 86 1.6 Diesel (new discs/calipers/pads/pipes/bearings) and when I picked her up from garage she wouldn't start. Managed to get a tow start and she fired up OK and cruised brilliantly home at 67mph (yes you read that right ! :o 67mph!). Anyway, j...
