Re: where can i get lowering kit
You really do get what you pay for. I purchased Avo items from Brickwerks and although 70mm lower are a lot better than expected so I'm very satisfied. The cheaper items on ebay will probably give you a crappy ride. I read up on suspension upgrades for a long time before making the decision to use A...

Re: west wales campsite Aberaeron
Hi My partner and I stayed in Newgale on the SW coast in Pembrokeshire this July. We found the perfect place. £10 a night (£5 per person) for the two of us and our tintop, showers (50p for 5 mins), hot food on site in the mornings, nice pub serving great food literally nextdoor, shop selling allsort...

Re: AVO Lowering Springs, any good ?
I've got avo -50 springs, avo shocks and I'm running 17 inch alloys with low profile continental tyres. The ride is fine. Really good bit of kit. Tim I've stayed at that place, there's some great riding around that way. Did you do the whites trail? Andy Hi Andy We did the Wall on day one and the Wa...

Very true. I'm a sucker for an arch-filled stance and I seem to do it to all my rides (Mini, Suzuki SJ & Bus).
I suppose it's the price we pay for vanity

Re: AVO Lowering Springs, any good ?
just a quick q why did you put 20mm spacers on a wheel with the correct et of 35? you have now made it et 15 Hi Jason. Two reasons really. Firstly, the centre caps although modified, would not fit on even with the maximum amount of material machined from the hub grease caps (as per Wiki ultimate wh...

Re: AVO Lowering Springs, any good ?
I fitted AVO 70's to my Tin Top earlier this year and I'm still running the standard BOGE shocks with 2 ribs removed from the bump stops. I am running 7x17 MAM alloys with an 35 ET offset, longer studs + stud conversion and 20mm hubcentric spacers. There have been no issues so far, even with 5 of us...

Re: Van won't idle,1.9dg
I too have the same problem - so I'm all ears. So far, I have: Changed after-market fuel filter Cleaned cone-shaped micro fule filter in carb Changed dissy cap & rotor arm (looked shagged) Removed one of the jets (one with cross-head slot) and cleaned Sprayed LOADS of carb cleaner inside carb in...
