Re: Paint Your Wagon - with a roller!

I I cant see from the chart a Ivory or cream colour only pure white Your common slightly cream/white, known by VW as "Pastel white L90D", is available ready mixed from Avenue Coatings . They are very helpful. So on the Rustoleum colour chart is that the white with ref no. 7392 or is L90D ...

Re: Paint Your Wagon - with a roller!

I am looking to start rollering my van before winter hits and have few questions which I have searched for but to no avail , firstly is it worth looking for some kind of shelter to cover my hitop T25 whilst I paint it (if there is one big enough ?) secondly I am looking to do a two tone van , top in...

Re: PU sealant cure time ?

Find the datasheet from the manufacturer. It'll say there. I recently used Sika PUR adhesive, so similar to yours, and at the overnight temperature here that datasheet said 8-10 days. If in doubt ring the helpline of the manfacturer. Well if its 8 days or more without rain at this time of the year ...

PU sealant cure time ?

bought some tubes of the Polyurathene sealant - "tiger seal" but as weather is forecast for more rain I am not sure how long it takes to go off or cure so that its waterproof before rain , at this price I don't want to lose it all ? This is to renew the seal between the fiberglass hard top...

Re: Paint Your Wagon - with a roller!

Skimp on prep and it'll show. Thats the key thing to get right. Paint goes on fast. Whilst prepping the Hitop I have found an area of repair by a previous owner which has cracking in the surface, is a fine smear of filler good enough or should I use some type of sealant , I have read that "sik...

Re: Hitop bolt location and sealant

Whilst rubbing down the hitop I see an area of previous damage that has been repaired but considerable cracking , as the cracks are not severe enough to fill
I am wondering weather I should treat it with a flexible coat of some kind or just a thin smear of filler ?
advise greatly appreciated . :ok

Thanks Jake , I assume can be over painted , and do I run it around guttering or not needed ?
