oil leak
After 9 years of ownership my van has developed a small oil leak - a few drips seem to be dropping down from where the engine meets the gearbox - not sure if it is engine oil or gearbox oil - only drips when engine is going not when van standing still - looks like it may be the gasket - is this some...

water ingress
In the last week or so , after heavy rain , water has got in on the driver's side foot well - looks like it is running down from under the dashboard but I can't be sure. The windscreen seal looks tight with no obvious cracks or gaps - any other places it could be getting in ? If it is the windscreen...

Re: Exhaust
Thanks for links - the SS one does look the best option as we have no intention of selling the van for a few more years .

Exhaust
I have a 1989 2.1 petrol we've owned for 8 years - the exhaust has started blowing somewhere ( can't identify exactly where but can hear it ) I have all the receipts since new so am pretty sure the exhaust system is the original one ( 26 yrs old ! ) What's the cheapest way to rectify this - a new sy...

Annoying battery drain
T25 2.1 1989. I'm still trying to find the cause of a battery drain - my van is used once or twice a week - usually it starts first time but if left for 5 days or so the battery goes almost flat - just half an hour on a charger will start it again straightaway - almost new battery - had it checked a...

Re: interior lights
this is our van - it's a holdsworth conversion - I'm afraid I don't know if it's got these things - It's only had a couple of owners and the original receipt shows it was a professional conversion from new . the leisure battery sits behind the passenger seat - when we bought it we did have the origi...

Re: interior lights
thanks for info - the battery is about 6 months old - as it started after 2 weeks away after disconnecting I assume its not this - I do have a leisure battery connected up but in all the 7 years we've had the van never used it so it's like ly to be knackered but I will charge it up to see if it will...

interior lights
Bit of a dumb question but what position are you supposed to keep the interior lights - I mean the one just inside the drivers door and the other one that goes on when you open the sliding door. There are 3 positions on both switches - the top one I think is the normal one that activates when you op...

Re: steering wheel cover
Thanks for responses. I tried a different approach and looked on Amazon for a truck wheel cover - this one came up and for £12 delivered I thought it worth a try - arrived today - perfect fit - seems to be made of rubber - makes the wheel look and feel 100% better. The one they sent was all black and...

I've used all types of cleaner without much effect - we've a red interior theme - red seat covers ,curtains etc so thought a red steering wheel cover would fit in without looking chavvy

steering wheel cover
Every winter , when the damp weather sets in , my steering wheel gets all sticky until the temperature reaches normal in the cabin - it's the original steering wheel ( 1989 2.1 ) . Is there somewhere I can buy a cover that fits ( preferably red ) - all ones advertised are too small and I want to kee...
