Hi!
This sounds like the common starter-bush-issue(?)
Typical when starts great at cold, but some miles away, engine hot & the starter turns the engine slowly.

Does the starter turns the engine rapidly when cold and then slowly when warmed up?

I am also pretty curious about this since I'll be changing side windows too this winter...
Anyone has the do's and don'ts on this one??

Yes, I think there was a little nut at the side, locked with some yellow paint. Is it some sort of adjustment-gizmo?

Thanks! :D I've been struggling about with the auxiliary air regulator. Bentley book says that the two terminals at regulator shall read 30 ohms. Mine does to. To check that it closes at warm engine one shall blow through it. It is still possible to blow a little through it when warm, it doesn't blo...

Just one question: At wich RPM is the timing meant to be set?

Have to know this cause I can't find it in the Bentley manual.

Ah, forgot, I have the Bosch injection, think it is L-jetronic. The carbu-variants where never sold here in sweden. :oops: I don't have the hall-sender, just ordinary points. This injectionsystem should be bulletproof and very reliable, but, of course, if there's small leaks everywhere nothing works...
