when my orange light decided it didnt want to go out except when the engine was running turned out it was the temp switch, try changing that if it aint the relay (there only a fiver)

ah, so is there anyway of testing these switches apart from getting the engine really really really warm?
(and at what point on the temp guage do you start getting nervous)

the reason i'm worried is my temp guage went up to 3/4 of the way on friday in that hot weather and no sign of any fan movement so i shat myself, luckily the traffic started moving and she didnt blow but think i'd better change the little buggers.

and i'm getting worried, my radiator fan wont come on, i want to change the temp switches on it but i dont know exactly what they are so does anyone know the part number and where to get them, its a 1.6 n/a diesel it has two switches on the rad and i want to change them both (its not the fan as it w...
