Help identifying cooker grill

Hello all, I'm hoping someone can identify the cooker grill in my T25 as the 'burner' has dropped off and I can't work out to secure it again. Also, the mesh has dropped down too. I'm really hoping I can get spare parts of work out how to repair rather than have to go to the expense of replacing eve...

Replacement k i t c h e n / s i n k tap!

Hello All, Its been a while since I posted, I think the last time I posted was before I had a child, got married, moved house and expecting another arrival in May. Anyway, I digress, the tap or to be more precise the 'turning knob/dial' (not very technical sorry) is broken and needs replacement as c...

Oil change on new engine

Hi, I'm after a second opinion, I've been advised to change new oil in a new refurb engine I had fitted about 500-600 miles ago.

Also, anyone recommend oil type/brand too please? :D

Re: MPG

ok based on litre to galloon ratio:

£50 / £1.18 = 42 litres

42 L = 9 gallons

200 miles / 9 G = 22 MPG

MPG

I'm not the greatsest mathmatician and am trying to work out my MPG and would like to know yours, for a comparison. I drive a DG 1.6 manual petrol (refurb from elite) T25 High-top with body kit (heavy I know) the mixture/timing has been been tested and tuned with a CO2 device too. I can do 200 motor...

Re: Help - on the verge of throwing in the towl!

Personally if you are toying with laying out £1000+ on a new engine, I would take the old system to bits and at least learn what the original problem is. Best case scenario is it is something fixable, which will save you money and also teach you plenty about your van. Worst case is it is unfixable,...

Re: Help - on the verge of throwing in the towl!

Thanks very much for your responses!

I like the idea of instead of doing a straight swap and opt for the high power diesel yet unsure of what other work is involved. There is not a cat in hell chance I could get the van to Elite to benefit from the free fitting unfortunately!

Help - on the verge of throwing in the towl!

Hi All, My story is classic a newbie....I purchased what I thought was a desirable van with having only conducted a small amount of research last summer and purchased on looks rather than reliability - hindsight is a wonderful thing. The van is a gorgous looking T-25, 1.9 petrol, watercooled with hi...
