I had a similar problem and found the front bracket to be loose. The rear one was spot on, but as the front was loose the wind was getting under the top. I just bent the curly bit at the top of the bracket with a pair of pliars and it now gives a nice snug fit. I also tie the roof down inside too, j...

i use one of those, its good for BBQing (although a tad small) and you can stick a 'crackle log' on there after for that cosy campfire feel

ooh, i like the idea of 'painting' the leather as it provides a lot of flexibility - just a couple of quick questions though: does the paint crack at all with use ? is there a chance of tranfer to clothes (especially on hot and sticky days) ? when u say 'paint' is it more of a 'dye' ? ps, sorry to h...
