Oil in square air filter
Hello, Just got van back on road after a winter sat in my yard. Noticed a lot of oil in the air filter and around housing box. It was noticed that emmissions were on high side but got through MOT. Sorry if this has been answered before but I searched forum and wiki and couldn't find an answer. Cheer...

Re: Does my van sound normal??
Hello, I've got a G reg Petrol T25 with a DG engine and it sounds exactly the same as that video tape. I took the advice of changing oil and filter and it has made no difference. I drove on the motorway with it yesterday and for approx 30secs half way through journey (20mins) there was excess smoke ...

Hello,
Sorry if this has been covered before but I did do a search and didn't find anything......
Which seats will fit straight onto the runners of my G reg T25 Transporter?? Will Golf seats go on?

Plasma cutter!?! Is that like a light saber....? You are right about the angle grinder/space issue there isno way it will fit in......hmmm can anyone give me an idea of how much it would cost to cut out the small strip (not the whole panel like in that YouTube film) and get another strip welded in, ...

Thanks for replies....... I've plled windows out today and wire brushed the rust off and taken paint/undercoat off.......It's not as bad as it looks on the photos above, I will post some tomorrow. The front of the van is still the same but if the weather fairs I'm gonna take an angle grinder to it!!...

It's all a question of powdery iron oxide!!!!
Hello all, I've got a couple of rust issues. I've read lots of the posts about rust and window rubbers but there is a lack of pictures so I thought I would share mine. My T25 is a panel conversion whcih I have heard is the worst combination for rust problems and windows etc. [IMG:800:600]http://i64....

Yes yes yes, Same advice as above! If you are happy with performance stick with 1600. I got a T25 with knackered engine, I got loads of advice about swopping for a peugot or other VW or even a subaru engine! they all fit with a bit of tweaking. In the end I decided to recon my engine myself which ha...

water system/coolant question
Hello, This is possibly a daft question! I'm trying to flush out my pipes!! As I think there was a blockage, perhaps an air block or gunge block. I removed the rubber pipes that lead to the radiator and stuck a hose into the pipes that run right to the back. When I put it in one pipe the water overf...

I've taken my engine to bits thinking it was the head gasket that had gone but it looks like it hasn't, or if it had it was the main cause of water/oil mixing. I've followed the advice of a couple of mechanics and left the engine instead of dropping it. On www.benplace.com it states that removing th...
