Re: Final Drive Ratio Help Please
Hi Aidan Many thanks and that was a quick reply ....I've just spoken to him and guess what he has another question......
Does the 0.85 in fifth gear make the rev's very high ? as he's been offered a 3H Gear Box which is 0.816 in fifth gear and 4.83 final drive. What do you think?

Re: Portugal for the Winter
Not off to Portugal for the winter sadly and I envy you... but we do have Portuguese neighbours who make for up it by providing food and drink from their native country on a regular basis ..the next best thing I guess  They are originally from the Porto area so not so hot there in the winter m...

Re: Camp sites Swanage - Portland Area?
MaddogsT25 & elsid ....Many thanks for that recommendation and the link. That site coincidently is one on my list that we had a very enjoyable 10 days in 2003 at the time there was no hook up and the toilet block was to say the least a one off ( we shut our eyes to the basic non decorated breez...

We are heading off to the Swanage/Portland/Weymouth area in a couple of weeks and have a couple of sites in mind near to Corfe Castle but as its almost ten years since we were in the area I was just wondering if anyone can recommend any recently visited sites ...main criteria would be quiet dog frie...

Re: Holmesly Bay - is it REALLY that bad??
We were at Holmesley last year late Sept and as you say you pays your money and pick your pitch :) It is an old airfield and once the site closes (end oct) they open the gates and let the horses roam in for the winter, so I don't think much attention is made to the grounds at all. We found the showe...

Re: Camp site problem - is this reasonable
I agree with Louey as above ...£68 is a total rip off ...big sites charge more for all the facilities they offer, which most people don't really want anyway. Write and complain to their head office/man you deserve a refund as you paid for something you didn't get. How many of you were using the pitc...

Re: Woodhall Spa Campsite
We go to Woodhall Spa quite a bit for a couple of days camping usually on the spur of the moment when the weathers looking good (Lincolnshire is one this country's best kept secrets in my opinion). Have stayed at the C&C Club site a couple of times and others nearby. Anywhere in or around Woodha...

Re: VW Mechanic in Hampshire
When ever we've camped in the New Forest we've always had the phone number of the T25 garage at Sway (station street/road). Someone on the 8090 forum mentioned they are very good and knowledgeable. Will see if I can find it :ok It's KFK VW station road Lymington 01590 683429 Thankfully never had the...
