AAZ conversion JX Turbo or AAZ Turbo?
Hi I'm about to convert my 1.7D to a AAZ. I've been informed i can use the JX turbo (which I don't have yet) and this will minimise the additional non standard fabrication. But is there may be an issue with fitting a JX inlet manifold on to aaz. Also i think this will allow me to use my 1.7 engine m...

Re: Accelerator peddle
Hi
Did you get your peddle sorted?
Mine has just snapped off.
Do you know where I can get the replacement part from?
Thanks

Re: Paint Your Wagon - with a roller!
Hi -wonder if you could give some advice to complete novices? Before applying the first coat of paint, when sanding down, can you use a sander? Also, as there will be differences in the paint texture, due to some bits being sanded off, will subsequent coats of paint even out this finish, with the fl...

Re: Replacing Water Pump Belt
Hi I didn't get the water pump pulley off. stubborn bolts and a hex key lost in the engine bay!!! Someone has suggested that the the may be reverse thread but i haven't tried it out. If it's just the alternator belt (Top) on my configuration. You don't need the water pump pulley off. just the altern...

Re: Replacing Water Pump Belt More Help please
Thanks Unfortunately I've tried and failed. I think I need to remove the three nuts on the middle pulley see attached photo with alternator already removed. If so they are very stubborn and pulley moves whilst I tried to lossen the bolts. Any tips on how to loosen them or is it just brute force. Tha...

Replacing Water Pump Belt
Hi All I've got a 1.7D, that's got two VEE belts one for the water pump and one for the Alternator. I've got two new belts and want to fit them. I've just replaced the alternator, but it wasn't obvious how I should replace the lower , water pump belt. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jody

I'll have a look at the Belt and think bit more about the alternator.
Regarding a replacement can you advise where i might get a reconditioned replacement?

Alternator Bearings
Hi All I've been informed that the slight squealing noise (similar to a fan belt, but not as load or harsh) when starting my van could be due to the alternator bearings going. Is this likely and if so do i need to get a new alternator or can it be fixed ? Also the lower belt (water pump) may be a lit...

Fridge Cupboard Dimensions
Hi All
I'm building my interior units and was wondering does anyone have any recomendations as to how much extra space i need to allow for, in the fridge cupboard. Extra being beyond the dimenstion of the friddge?
I hope this makes sense.
Cheers

Leisure Battery Location
Hi All
Is there any reason why the leisure battery could not go in the opposite side of the engine bay from the starter battery?
It's seems a good place for it, close to the alternator and not taking up space in the interior.
Cheers
