Thanks a lot gents (and or ladies). Are the two spade terminals one for each side rear brakelight?
Do you know if i can get a switch from JustKampers if it's shot? ...and one last question - am I likely to be able to change it without haveing to bleed the brakes?
Thanks again.

t25 AC 1981 - where's the brake light switch...?
My brake lights started to work only intermitently - now they don't work at all. I don't know where to look for the brake light switch? - is it under the dash near the servo unit? Any help appreciated.

T25 2.0l Aircooled - Torque setting for carb bolts
Anybody know what the right torque setting is for the nuts holding the Solex carbs on please? I've still got an air leak somewhere even though I've renewed every single hose on the vaccum system - including the servo vaccum pipes for the brakes. Maybe the carbs aren't tight down - but I'm afraid of ...

Re: Idle bypass problem - T25 2L Aircooled - worse and worse
This is gonna drive me to drink!!! I bought an overhaul kit, took the carbs off, and installed new float valves, accelerator pump and automatic choke diaphragms and cleaned it all 'til you could eat your soup out of 'em - blew all the jets through with compressed air. Checked the idle fuel feed pipe...

Idle bypass problem - T25 2L Aircooled
My 2L Aircooled won't tick over. There's no fuel getting to cylinders 1 & 2 at tickover. I've pulled off the vacuum pipe from the tube between the left carb and the manifolds (the one that comes from the advance/retard unit on the distributor) and it starts to fire on 1 & 2 but only occasion...

Re: T25 2L Aircooled - carburettor problems
Does anyone know a good mechanic in the London / South East who is really familiar with the T25 with 2 litre Aircooled engine. My local garage looked under the bonnet and declared themselves so unfamiliar with what they saw they didn't want to touch it. She's 1981 and only done 45k from new...

Re: T25 2L Aircooled - carburettor problems
Thanks - that's really helpful. Do you have an idle stablizing unit? - small black box on the left side bulkhead towards the back of the vehicle, just beside the electronic ignition unit. If you do, are there plugs connected to it?
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

T25 2L Aircooled - carburettor problems
My T25 is losing power and smells as though it's running rich. When it's hot it won't tick over. Took off the engine cover to find a few things I don't understand. There are wires on the By-pass cut off valve and the Fuel cut-off valve (linked) but no wire on the terminal on the Idling enrichment un...
