Water coming from front two injectors, not glow plugs. BUT only when up to running temp.
Any ideas?

AAZ Diesel water leak. Head Gasket?
Hi My temp light started blinking yesterday. stopped to find water running down engine. It appeared to be coming from front two glow plugs. BUT engine sounded fine. Is this cyl head gasket? Can it be anything else? Can I drive short distance to put it somewhere easier to work?Is there anyone near Ki...

Re: Nut or something missing where dipstick tube enters TD block
Oh god, I don't know. Lol. As purchased. Fixing these little details one by one... Previous owner says oil is full when dipstick reads minimum... I plan to fix that when I change oil.

AAZ thermostat
Hi The thermostat in my AAZ doesn't look like the ones in pictures (photos and tech drawings) it has its own rubber seal attached. So when I installed into new water pump housing, I left out the o ring. It didn't have one when I took it out but was entrenched in some kind of bodge. I test fit with t...

Re: Water pump leaking suddenly
A bit delayed but got positive ID, yes its that pump, thanks Kev. They ship without gasket though. make one. use a cornflake box with blue hylomar sealant we've been doing it for years :D Had to do that once without sealant. For a truck in the middle of nowhere in Namibia. Thought I'd passed...

Better pictures.
All seems present, just seems a bit feeble, can't imagine wading with this setup?

AAZ water pump bolt sheered removing from housing
Don't ask how. This one was way tighter than the others so not blaming myself for this. The question is, can I get away without this? Downside is it's one of the ones behind timing cover so pain if it does leak there. https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7792/17692010874_48b09a2f39_b.jpg https://farm8.sta...

Nut or something missing where dipstick tube enters TD block
Not a brilliant photo but.
The dipstick tube goes into a bigger tube poking out of the block. Way too Loose/free movement.
What should it look like?

Re: Water pump leaking suddenly
Have left van standing where it was.. Its secure outside our workshop. Plan is to take out pump, dump it on parts counter and ask for one just like that. In the meantime, spotted that there seems to be something missing between dipstick tube and where it enters the block, as it moves up, down and ar...

Water pump leaking suddenly
My newly acquired 1.9TD (was 1.6td) has spontaneously started leaking from the water pump. She did do some hard up and down hill work yesterday but the fan came on ok. Can I let her cool down, top her up and run the few miles home? What's it likely to be? New pump or new gasket? Looks like this is a...
