1.9 Petrol engine - sluggish and cutting out
Hi I have a 1988 Holdsworth Conversion with a 1.9 DG petrol engine. It has suddenly started losing power and cutting out. This is surprising as a few weeks ago we had a 350 mile round trip to the Yorkshire coast with no problems at all. It also had its service and MOT at the beginning of July. Tonig...

High top in windy conditions
The last couple of times I have driven down the motorway I have been caught by some strong crosswinds and ended up having a wrestling match with the steering wheel to try and keep in the same lane. I realise that as I have a high top it is going to be more prone to this than most. Is there a way to ...

Sliding door rubber seal
Water is able to get in near my sliding door and I suspect the rubber seal may need replacing.
Does anyone know if
1. Is this a fairly straightforward job?
2. The best place to buy a replacement seal from? (as I am not sure about the quality of stuff from JustKampers).
Thanks

Re: Front lights not working
The only thing above the headlight switch is the light that shows the hanbrake is engaged.
Above the foglight switch is (a very slow to reeact) hazard warning switch. Above that is a switch-shaped hole.

Front lights not working
My van has a front grille with 4 square-shaped lights ( and disappointingly no VW insignia). The two outer headlights work fine (if a little dimly by modern standards) but the two inner lights stubbornly refuse to work. I eventually found the cunningly hidden fuse box but everything was fine there)....
