How about one of these, or similar? 3M Stripe off disc Not used one, and took a bit of googling to find it. But I'm sure I've seen something similar recommended on another forum (can't find the link or bookmark at the mo). E D I T: Thought of it: they're called Toffee Wheels over here. Search eBay,...

Re: Front spoiler removal
Is the front (5 piece?) spoiler on a SA bus mounted differently? I ask as I've looked at removing ours - non SA bus - and it doesn't seem to be attached to the front beam. Although I didn't have a good look as it was chucking it down at the time. Let us know if you manage to shift the screws, and ho...

Re: Engine removal - clearance? and other questions
Naughty Person - You have committed the cardinal sin of not saying what engine you have  Assuming it is a WBX  Sorry, completely slipped my mind! Yep, it's a WBX 2.1, either an SS or an MV (not sure, so will check that when it's out). I didn't measure the height when I did mine ( THREE ...

Engine removal - clearance? and other questions
Stupid question(s) time again. Probably going to be dropping the engine out of the van soon (to getter better access to the rusty exhaust studs for one thing) and am wondering if we're going to have the room to do this in the garage, so; does anyone know what sort of clearance the engine needs, betw...

Re: Pics of my new cupboards!
Thanks folks. DrHfuhruhurr – I got the Formica from Arnold Laver ( http://www.laver.co.uk/ ). They get it from International Decorative Surfaces ( http://www.laver.co.uk/ ) so it's probably cheaper if you can deal directly with them. I think you can also get it from Travis Perkins. The stuff I used...

A quick jacking question (or two)...
I’ve had a search and couldn’t find an answer, so; is it ok to jack the front of the van up under the front wishbone (to keep the suspension loaded/keep the jacking points free)?
And are the front jacking points a good spot to put axle stands or is there a better place?
Many thanks.

Re: easy to fit??
I'm sure I've seen that sort of seatbelt arrangement in a Transit minibus's middle seats; the seat, seat base/mount, and belt are one. I guess it means the whole system is modular so when you take the seat out, the belt comes with it. Could be the same(ish) here.

got hold of this would it be of any interest? lee Yeah, would definitely be interested in seeing some scans of that! Threads like Covkid's and ropeman23's are full of extremely useful t25/t3-centric pointers and photos, however places like mig-welding.co.uk are probably the best to go for general w...
