no lights on the nearside!?? Help please :)

Morning all My westy has overnight decided not to have any lights working on the nearside  That's the headlights and the complete rear nearside light cluster. Typically I need to be using it tonight to ferry the kids about, so I need to fix it today if I can! Any ideas anyone? Many thanks

Re: LEZ: Any advice re authorised fitters

Morning everyone.... An update for you. I've had to complete another LEZ emission form (I think the link is in a previous post) with a copy of my V5 and a photo of the chassis plate, which clearly shows the GVW being 2460kg, 40kg below the required 2500kg for the LEZ charge. This was in part because...

Re: LEZ: Any advice re authorised fitters

Hi Carole Like many others I too had to get this sorted out after these numpties at TFL told me they had my Westy weighed in at 3000kg or something really stupid and if I wanted it correcting I needed to fill in the registration form . Ignored it for a while while the charge was suspended but once ...

LEZ: Any advice re authorised fitters

Morning all.... We had a lovely letter from Mayor Boris about our 1991 Westy two weeks ago, which now means that our van needs to have a 'special filter' fitted in order to meet the emission requirements. This has to be completed by Jan 1st 2012; if not we will have to pay a £100 fine, per day :evil...

Re: Rear 3-point belt in a Westy?

I've just checked in the Wiki, and I might just be in luck! Off to the garage to check!

That said, any Westy owners out there who have done this? And who would be the best people to buy the belt from?

Many thanks again...

Rear 3-point belt in a Westy?

Hello everyone...some advice please! I have a 1991 Westy and 7 year old twins who will NOT sit still in the back!! They have the standard Graco car seats which we use with the lapbelts but I'm not really happy with that as the kids move around far too easily and I worry about spinal injuries in the ...

Sliding door wont open from the inside

Firstly, apologies if this has been asked before..... My sliding door has suddenly decided not to open from the inside; although opens perfectly well from the outside. The (interior) handle remains firmly fixed in the vertical position; it won't budge when I try to pull the door open. Any id...

Re: westy table/leg doodah?

Keep it... We use ours all the time; with 2 kids in the van as well as us it's invaluable as extra table space, and doubles up as a worktop when cooking. We just slot the table top behind the seat, using the leg to clamp it down tight. Original tables are like rocking horse poo, and with a pr...
