We have a 3 point each for our two and a lap belt in the middle. Would think the only reason for a booster with a 3 point is so the belt dose not end up round the kids neck so there would be no need for a booster with a lap belt. Sometimes the flow of ammonia can become "vapor locked", and turning it off will allow the pressures to equalize (the old method was called "burping", and consisted of taking the refrigerator out and turning it upside down for a couple of hours and trying again.
