Re: 1.6TD JX watercooled intercooler
I'm not sure that's borne out by what others have found. If you take a look at Bernd Jäger's site he has a some info about intercooling the JX, and he reckons you can get a good deal extra out of the engine in this way. He can reckon what he wants to sell his gear. Makes you wonder how Vw had 'just...

Check the link.. http://www.brick-yard.co.uk/VehicleSpecific/T3/info/mods/diesel.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; The two engine codes RA and SB are mechanically similar to your JX. The extra 10bhp they have over the JX is from different fuel pump and injectors. I believe...

I'm swapping my clutch and flywheel this week.
Can anyone confirm if the clutch bolts from the Jx Set up are the same as the Tdi bolts?

Syncro ARB problem..
Completely stripped the front end suspension and replaced everything for new. On reassembling I now have an issue with the anti roll bar. Both drop links snapped so bought one from brickwerx and 'borrowed' one off my crewcab. Now one drop link just refuses to bolt up? It's at the wrong angle to get ...

One of the best vans i've ever bought :ok Also bought a Bluestar multivan blind from Bezier in the South of France and flew over for that to. Drove back 998 miles sweet as a nut and was much better than i thought and...

Passenger side(for a LHD car) between the locker door and the wheel arch where the louvers are in the ad.vwfool wrote:tforturton wrote:Intriguing....I wonder where it goes.
The louver placement makes it obvious to a truck owner that it is a 2wd.
Yeah, plus the fact that it actually states in the advert it is a converted 2wd!

Mike i've just done this job on both my front and rear boxes. I'm not sure but i think the rear can be done with the box in situ (i was swapping mine over so did it on the bench). Good article here.. http://www.syncro.org/DiffLock.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Number ...
