Re: Fuel Not Getting Through
I don't get any flow from gravity, even if I disconnect the hose to the tank! I once had the problem where no fuel would come out of the tank when the fuel hose was disconnected. There is an internal strainer in the bottom corner of the fuel tank and this can become blocked with particles of rust/c...

Re: Need a local garage for lpg check and mechanical
For general mechanical work I can recommend A J Motors, Unit 10, Stanley Mill, Kirkebrok Road, Deane, Bolton, BL3 4JE. Tel: 01204 62496. I have used A J Motors since 1981 and this garage is my first choice for any work on my camper or car. For motorhome/camper specific stuff, I can only suggest B&am...

LPG = less MPG but it's a lot cheaper per litre than petrol.

Re: autosleeper vt20
I'm glad you replied before me, Jane. You've saved me having to remember how the VT20 pull out bed works. I sold my VT20 in 2010 after I bought my LWB T4 camper. The T4 has an Auto-Sleepers pull out bed in it but I wish it had a rock & roll bed. The only advantage with the VT10 bed is that it's ...

My T4 doesn't have central locking, so sorry can't help. Try posting on the VW T4 Forum.

Re: 4.5 kg butane gas bottle storage
Your gas bottle should be stored vertically. The space above the 'liquified gas' is where the liquid vapourises & flows through the valve/regulator.

Re: Panel van ply lining...?
Just Kampers only appear to do a complete set of MDF panels for for a T25 Bus, ie. the lower interior panels. Previously, I thought that they did interior panels for the T25 panel van because they do for the T4.

Re: Electric Hook UP cable
Blue will be fine for you additional hook up cable. I had an orange hook up cable & needed a longer one. I bought a supposedly orange one from Amazon UK but when it arrived it was blue. Most hook up cables in France seem to be blue & are a lot thinner than UK ones.

Re: Buying Tyres Online Is Not As Stupid As I Thought
I go for the best quality tyres and brakes rather than the cheapest. Life depends on it! Am I the only one? :?: No Patrick, you're not the only one who wants good tyres on your van. The thing is, once you've decided on the brand, don't you wamt them at the best price available? For good mid price t...

Re: Buying Tyres Online Is Not As Stupid As I Thought
I found asda tyres to be very cheap and their price includes fitting. Usually at halfords autocentres I have been on the Asda Tyres website just out of curiosity about their prices. I entered my camper registration & it displayed ''VW Transporter'' on the screen but the tyres it came up with we...

Re: Buying Tyres Online Is Not As Stupid As I Thought
I buy my tyres from a family run garage about 5 miles from where I live. Their price for tyres including fitting is less than the online companies such as Black Circles & My Tyres. Plus I am dealing with people I know & if anything goes wrong I know where to find them.
