Hi, I might have a go but would a wrong needle position not just give a speedo reading that was say 10 mph wrong right across the speed range rather than increasingly wrong the faster I go?

Hi again, I have just checked and the speedo is an 805, at least that's what is on the front facia of it. For now I have made a tape strip on the sunvisor with corrections but I will try to get another head at Vanfest in September. Is swapping the head an easy job for a podgy fingered old muppet lik...

Thanks for that guys, it confirms my own thoughts. I will check the number as suggested and I kind of hope it's way wrong. At least that way I have found the cause, then all I need is the right, one which is probably the easy part.
