I would like to get some paint for my two tone blue 83/4 Caravelle.
Probably a small quantity of brush paint of each coluour would do, but spray cans could also be useful as there is only a small area to touch up.
Does anyone know a good source? Thanks

I would like to fit one to my blue 84 Caravelle. Were they available for the 'velle, or just for the Multivan/Bluestar? And are they available in blue, or just grey?

5th works well on my '83 1.9 'Velle, but I can imagine that a camper, particularly a high top, would struggle.

Sounds good - where can I get the VW bed kit?

I would like to temporarily remove the middle (and perhaps also the rear) rows of seats from my 83 Caravelle. I can't see how the seat structure is retained - any advice gratefully received.

Thanks, Dan. It is an 83 watercooled. I can't find an obvious broken fuse so maybe it is further back - where is the reduction relay?
Maybe I should get a Haynes manual !

I was at the level crossing with vent fan and wipers on. I turned off the engine (and fan / wipers) until the trains had passed then restarted the engine - but no fan or wipers! I have checked the fuses in the main fuse box (inside the glove box), but no burnt out fuses. Where should I look next?

I hve a two tone blue '83 Caravelle and would like to know the paint codes. Are they marked in the vehicle somewhere, or do I have to contact VW?

ok, then I'll tax it and use it, but is a cover a good idea?

I want to put my Caravelle to bed for the winter. It will have to stand outside as I have no garage or carport.
Should I use a vehicle cover (if so then which?), or is it best to just clean, wax and leave exposed to the elements (Surrey).
Any other recommendations?

I have recently obtained an '83 watercooled Caravelle and need to do a small amount of panel touch up. The vehicle i light blue over dark blue.
Question; where can I find the paint codes?
